The long awaited day arrives...the day Jordangets to spend his allowance. So we get up earlier than normal for a Saturday morning to drop my mini-van off at Grease Monkey for it's check-up and head straight to Wal-Mart.
The allowance has now burnt a huge hole in Jordan's pocket and we're thinking we may need to get him a new pair of jeans too. We get to the toy aisle and after many minutes of agonizing contemplation, Jordan finally chooses a Star Wars Lego and carries it proudly to the car.
We spend another hour in the car, running errands and during the entire time we're driving around we constantly hear "when are we going to get home?". You see the kids aren't allowed to open new Lego boxes in the car because we've spent many an afternoon and evening searching the car with a flashlight for that tiny part that simply MUST be found.

We finally get home and Jordan races inside to build the Lego. He tears open the box and get busy building his Star Wars ship.
He gets 3/4 of the way through and calls Warren a few times to help him (very unusual for him) and then we realize that there are 3 mismatched parts in the box. Jordan is devastated.
So, we'll be back to Wal-Mart this afternoon once the greased monkey calls to let us know that the van is ready.(Notice the red around the eyes??)
