At the beginning of October the school has a Fall Festival and the kids gear up for it each year. The PTCO organize games, food and activities and many of the teachers volunteer to help with the festival. There is lots to do including a hay ride, hair painting, face painting and plenty of games which comes with a prize of candy or (cheap) toy. There is a braai where you can buy hot dogs or burgers plus endless supplies of soda, popcorn and cotton candy.
The games are played in the classrooms and gymnasium and so we went from room to room and sometimes back to the same rooms a few more times to get win more candy.
Jordan's friend Liam tagged along with us since his mother had to work.
Cullen was quite the shot at this game - throwing the tube through 3 hula loops that were spread out across the room.
Their pillowcases were red and green the next morning.
Very big horses - very stinky too!
The highlight was dunking Mr. Schleich (principal) in the dunk tank.
When there is a principal to dunk, they don't care how long they have to wait!
Two out of two! My boys were very determined!
