Breckenridge has many great memories for Warren and I. When we were looking to move to Denver, the company we worked for (based in the UK) sent us to Denver on a 'familiarization trip' and one of the places we visited was Breckenridge. We both took skiing lessons at the ski skool and we loved the little town.

Since moving to Denver, we've been back to Breck many times and a few of the trips we've made have been with the Swansons and the Kaspers. This group was the start of the original Creative Arts Team (CAT) for our church and we spent many hours together developing ideas for our church services.
We spent many hours 'playing' together and one of the things we used to do was drive up to the mountains after the service on Sunday and hang out together. Two weekends ago we went up as a group for probably one last time together. The Swansons (Jon, Jada, Jadon & Jamison) are moving to Monroe, WA in August to plant a church.
For me it was a bitter-sweet time. We had a picnic and spent time chatting and watching the kids play in the freezing cold water but as we left, I felt sad that this would probably be the last time we'd do this together.
