We're one step closer to getting this thing finished. Warren built the deck base from scratch after the old joists rotted and fell apart. He replaced the joists with treated wood so that they will last longer.
Today Warren, Cullen & I painted the joists with a paint-based stain in the same color as the Trex that will be arriving next week. Cullen had his own little area to paint and dropped his paint bowl twice so we'll have 2 patches on the lawn that will be dead soon. My back aches from bending over for 3 hours!!
Can't wait for this beast to be finished. Then we'll start on the next project!! (Will it ever end???)
