The cool thing about these boots is that they are Smarties boots with the Nestle logo on them. Of course this brought back memories of my childhood as Smarties are the equivalent to the American MnM's (except that Smarties are far superior in taste). Growing up, Smarties were (and still are) one of my favorite candies/sweets.
The first person who came to mind to give these boots to was Kristen. She is about 18 months old and is the daughter of Juli & Gerhard. Juli is our Director of Children & Family Ministries and is an American - and Gerhard is South African and lived in Vryheid. Just like our boys, Kristen is a white African American - born here but with African blood.
Well, Kristen loves these boots and I'm jealous they don't make them in adult sizes because I want a pair!!!!!! So, my South African friends and family, if you see a pair like these or anything similar you'd better buy them for me (size 6.5 SA size and 8.5 US size) because I WANT a pair!!!
