Happy Birthday to ME!

I woke this morning to a cup of coffee and lots of gifts. My family in SA clubbed together and bought me a gift voucher for a hot air balloon ride which is amazing!! I also got jewelry, cash, gift cards (Starbucks and Barnes & Nobles - 2 of my favorite places) and a spa treatment at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. We went to breakfast at Einstein Bagels who make fresh bagels every morning and they have the best spreads for bagels too!

This evening Warren organized for the kids to go to friends and he took me to The Melting Pot restaurant for dinner. That is probably my favorite restaurant in Denver and we only go there on special occasions because its pricey.

Years ago the restaurant owner took over an old building in downtown Littleton, added a 2nd story and renovated it inside to make it cozy and intimate. Some booths have curtains which can be drawn for even more privacy. The food is always excellent and we had all 3 fondues - cheese, entree (seafood and meat) and chocolate.

When we arrived at our table, there was a bouquet of red roses which Warren had organized for me. It was a lovely surprise and a lovely birthday.
