Plate I Painted

I've discovered a new fun craft. Its painting onto ceramic plates which get fired so that you can use them. I went with a friend to Ceramics in the City in downtown Denver and it was a lot of fun.

My friend is a wonderful artist and went to work on hers right away but I had a tough time figuring out what I wanted to paint. I eventually found an example in a magazine that they had in the shop and painted my first gecko plate. I hope to add more plates to my collection in the near future.
