While I was at an all-day conference at the church, the boys hung out together. I left the house at 7:45 am and they got up at 9 am and had breakfast. Warren took them to the batting cages to practice their baseball batting and said it was a lot of fun. They plan to go back again this week because they have tokens left over for the batting cages at the rec. center.
After lunch they went to Golden which is a suburb in the foothills and its also where Kong Co. is situated. Golden was having their annual Buffalo Bill Days festival where there were a lot of vendors selling and promoting and Warren said it was like a big flea market.
There is a Wild West Show which they missed but they did manage to go bungy jumping and spent some time in the river close by.
Warren bumped into Brenda (Kong employee) who is the president of Buffalo Bill Days and also works at Kong Co. so she got them some free food like funnel cake (fried donut batter with powdered sugar on top)
Later they went to Kong's pond which has a few fish in it and they fished for a while. Cullen was the only one to catch a fish which he was very chuffed about.
